I’m a South African director and director of photography, working in the production industry in London, UK. Cinemagraphs are a new passion of mine, as the best ones can capture a single moment - just like photography - but keep it alive forever in perpetual motion. Really well executed cinemagraphs should catch your eye for their beauty or impact, but keep you intrigued by their creative motion. I’m interested in and aspire to create cinemagraphs that are beautiful, that tell a story, and that would hopefully make even experienced creators wonder how they were achieved.
